A Total Online Profile Makeover!

If you’re not getting any dates no more, it may be time for an online profile makeover. Stop blaming whoever! Just like us, sometimes need a makeover as well. And the following are the ways to spice up your online profile, giving you a better result!
-
Upload a (Decent) Photo. Contrary to the belief of others that looks don’t matter much with online dating, it does! If you don’t have any photo uploaded in your online profile, maybe it’s time to post a perfect photo of you.
-
Upload a MORE recent photo. A photo that’s been taken ages ago won’t take you anywhere. An Online Dating site isn’t Myspace where posting your photo when you were a kid seems cute. So when posting a photo on your online profile, choose something that was taken very recently. And please, put up your OWN photo. I’m sure you’re good looking, are you?
-
Change your Headline into something (a little more) catchy. If you are still stuck with “Looking for someone who wants to SHARE me new things….” well maybe this is the perfect time to rephrase your online profile headline into something that will catch everyone’s attention. Re-assess your self, think of what you are looking for, and compose it in a decent way.
-
Update your Profile. When writing on your online profile, do not state the obvious. Also, avoid writing something that you DISLIKE as this keeps possible dates for you. In addition to this, writing what one MUST HAVE is also a no-no. Remember, nobody’s perfect and you will really not find that person you are looking for if you are looking for perfection.
-
Decide what you (really) want. Having a clear picture in mind of what and who you are looking for helps attract people with the same priorities as yours, which is crucial in writing your online profile.
Just like in the traditional dating, first impression on the first date is the most important thing to be considered. It is the same thing with Online Dating; our online profile represents who we are so just be your true self, have fun, never be afraid to be friends (first) with other people online, and don’t take everything else too seriously (at first)!
